I was quite excited when we received the invitation to attend a wedding in Mineola New York. My husband and I got our outfit ready and we decided to drive down to my mother’s home the night before. We wanted to be on time for the 10:30am wedding ceremony. Next morning we were out of bed quite early. I had just washed my hair and needed to use my big curling iron to whip up a nice style. I wanted to be properly dressed for this wedding.
We were out of my mother’s house by ten minutes of ten and we knew that we would be on time for the wedding, unless something very unusual happened. The road was moderately busy and the distance seemed reasonable. We had map quested the driving directions from the night before.
We arrived on time and were met at the door by a very efficient usher who asked if we had come on behalf of the bride or the groom. We were escorted in and we sat down. Soon the wedding march began and the flower girl and ring bearer entered along with the bridesmaids. I instantly thought of the gifts that the couple may think of giving to each of the young ladies and the young men in their wedding party. I thought of my website and the unique and personalized wedding gifts as well as the group of gifts on the page labeled as men and women’s gifts. I was still lost in thoughts when the crier entered ringing a bell and announced the grand entry of the bride.
She was beautiful as she walked through the big doors gently holding on to the strong arms of her dad. Cheers to a beautiful bride!
