The little boy who was chosen to be the ring pillow bearer was smart looking and cute. He walked up the isle just before the flower girl and he held the wedding ring pillow just right. He did not squeeze it much, neither did he allow it to almost fall. Obviously he was coached by a wise instructor. His tuxedo was tailored with exquisite care and precision. It fitted like a second skin—just right!
On the pillow, in a satin case sat a pair of precious rings; one for the bride and the other for the groom. This young man had a ton of responsibility on his hand. The good thing is that he seemed to acknowledge every bit of the responsibility placed in his charge. This little boy was not too serious, neither was he to giggly. The silence was broken when the organist started the tune of the bridal march. It was rich and melodious and it got the attention of the guests assembled in the little white church.. The guests all stood up with an air of reverence.
The bride looked regal as she held on to the arm of her father and walked up the isle of the church to the altar where her husband was standing with the best man. The ceremony was about to begin and this wonderful couple will soon be pronounced man and wife.
The ring bearer’s outfit was nicely tailored. The young man was both handsome and intelligent. He stood next to the four groomsmen and looked intently for the signal that would tell him to begin to walk towards his position near the altar. One by one the groomsmen walked halfway down the isle to meet and escort their bridesmaid to her position near the altar. Everything went as smooth as clockwork
The wedding ring pillow was soft and plush. It was professionally made with fabric that had a special glow. All eyes were on the ring bearer as he held up the ring pillow to reveal the sparkling diamond. He had finally done his main job. The bride and groom were pleased and so were the other members of the wedding party

A ringbearer is a young male attendant at a wedding. This type of wedding attendant is less common than it used to be, but is still a way of including young relatives or the children of relatives and friends in a wedding.
In a formal wedding, the ringbearer is a special page who carries the wedding rings for the bridal party. This is almost always symbolic, with the ringbearer carrying a large wedding ring pillow on which imitation rings are sewn, while the real wedding bands are kept in the safekeeping of the best man. If the real rings are used, they are tacked on with thread to prevent their accidental loss.
The ringbearer as a separate role is a relatively modern innovation. In a white wedding ceremony, the best man carries the rings.
Ring bearers are often nephews or young brothers (although they can also be nieces or sisters) and are generally in the same age range as flower girls, which is to say that they are no younger than about 5 nor older than 10.
